when the number of students

Application Requirement

  • Those who have completed or are scheduled to complete a 12-year education curriculum
  • Those who have passed or schedule to pass the high school graduation equivalency examination
  • In case of studying within 3 months, Those who study in the high school

Long Term Student
(Student visa – Regular Course ・College Preparatory Course) 		Short Term Student
(Temporary visitor visa, Working holiday visa, etc.)
Applicant
  • Application form (Fixed form)
  • Personal record (Fixed form)
  • 5 photographs （4 cm × 3cm, should have been taken within the last 3 months)
  • The original diploma or proof of graduation from your last graduated school
  • Photocopy of passport
    (Including all the pages of previous entries into Japan)
  • Proof of relationship between applicant and financial supporter
    (Family register or birth certificate)
  • Applitation fee 20,000 yen
  • Short Application form (Fixed form)
  • 4 photographs
    (4 cm × 3cm, should have been taken within the last 3 months)
  • Photocopy of passport
  • Photocopy of residence card (if applicable)
Financial
Supporter
  • Statement of Financial Supporter (Fixed form)
  • Account balance statement from the sponsor’s bank account in his/her home country
    (Balance should be around ￥2,000,000 at the current exchange rate)
  • Proof of employment of the financial supporter
    (Letter of employment or registration of business if company owner, etc.)
